My first book, “My Teachable Moments” was written as a newbie – a person who had never written anything worth reading. New on the scene without experience.

It was a challenge that I posed of myself and I am proud of that little book. A book of memories and circumstances that I found myself living.

After rereading “My Teachable Moments” over the last few days, I see many ways I could have made it better, easier to understand, and more interesting to read. Perhaps I’ll recreate the book and rewrite it.

My second book, “Creating Teachable Moments” is much more eloquently written. Sentences are cleaner, the meanings are easier to understand and it flows much better. But of course, it is a different kind of book – a workbook to enable teachers and their pursuits as leaders in the classroom.

I have to admit, I felt better and much more confident when writing the second book. I wanted teachers to hear my words and feel my thoughts as I dished out the words upon my computer screen.

Now both of my books “My Teachable Moments” and “Creating Teachable Moments” are available as paperback, ebook and audiobook and I am grateful for the time I had spent creating these works of art.

Creating Teachable Moments

To wrap up this blog post I’d like to say that I’m currently writing in a different manner – as a coauthor to The Body-System Adventures: The Hidden Worlds Within Series. These are books for a younger audience, tweens, and early teens, to understand how the body works. There are three available at this time and more to come.

Stay tuned for more…
